Language Development and Early Literacy Our toddler program supports the rapid development of language skills through engaging conversations, labeling objects, and describing experiences. BELA aims to create a love for reading by sharing books, nursery rhymes, finger plays, and interactive stories that nurture curiosity and build comprehension. Developmental and Social Skills We focus on helping toddlers continue to grow their gross motor skills with activities like jumping, hopping, and dancing. Our classrooms utilize music and movement to build coordination and joy. Some of our most important work at this age is practicing social skills like sharing, patience, and empathy! These are modeled and reinforced by our teachers at every opportunity, helping children build meaningful relationships and empathy. We also introduce classroom routines and classroom responsibilities for our toddlers to gain independence and practice team work! Outdoor Adventures Our campus sits on seven acres of outdoor space, giving our toddlers plenty of opportunities to run, jump, and play with their friends. Our action-packed playgrounds are designed to refine gross motor skills and provide endless fun in a safe environment. Nurturing Character Throughout the center our teachers provide opportunities for our students to learn patience, practice sharing, and foster friendships through positive modeling and interactions. Our program and staff share the belief that by encouraging these social emotional skills in children we can help create learners who will go into the world bravely and with kindness to change the world!
