Berwyn Early Learning Academy

Established in 1994 as the Berwyn United Methodist Nursery School, Berwyn Early Learning Academy is a non-profit, early childhood education center operated by Berwyn United Methodist Church and licensed by the state of Pennsylvania. We welcome children from 6 weeks to 5 years old into small classroom settings that foster individualized attention and growth. Our teachers are dedicated to nurturing young minds in a safe and supportive environment, offering year-round care with convenient hours from 7:00-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.

At BELA, families aren't just enrolling at a center-- they are joining a community! Our small classroom settings ensure every child gets the attention, support, and love they need to thrive. Our dedicated teachers spark curiosity, encourage hands on exploration, and celebrate each child's unique journey. With a strong sense of family at the heart of everything we do, BELA is a place where children are immersed in learning and inspiration every single day!

At Berwyn Early Learning Academy, we believe childhood is the perfect time to grow curious minds, kind hearts, and brave spirits. Every day, we feed children’s natural wonder, help them explore the world around them–including the wondrous parts they can’t always see– and cheer them on as they rise to new challenges. We work hand-in-hand with families to support each child’s journey because raising amazing adults is something a community does together! As a ministry of Berwyn United Methodist Church, our center is deeply rooted in the church’s mission to welcome and serve all families with love, care and purpose–nurturing young children while strengthening the community we call home.
